Dulux Trade Aluminium Wood Primer is a solvent-based primer containing aluminium pigment suitable for use on all types of softwoods and hardwoods, inside and outside, especially those which are highly resinous. It can also be used as a sealer for aged creosoted or bitumen coated surfaces or on fire-damaged wood after thorough washing down. Silver in colour and stir thoroughly before application, touch dry in 3 - 4 hours and re-coatable in 16 - 24 hours depending upon temperature and humidity, allow 24 hours between coats for aged creosoted or bitumen coated surfaces. Coverage, up to 17m² per litre on most surfaces. This product should not be thinned. After use, remove as much paint as possible from brushes or rollers before cleaning with white spirit.
