Its distinctive chalky matt finish minimises imperfections, and scatters light to fully express the depth of Farrow & Ball's colours. The flat, velvety effect it creates even brings added richness to darker colours.

St Giles Blue is one of Farrow & Ball's most intense blues, and an enduring favourite in the company's palette. It was originally found at the 17th-century St Giles House, near to Farrow & Ball's home in Dorset, but is just as suited to modern homes, where it is a cheerful presence in any room.
