Discover the Osmo UV Protection Oil Extra 420, a professional-grade, solvent-based wood oil designed to offer the ultimate protection for your exterior wood surfaces. With factor 12 UV filters, this oil is perfect for vertical wood surfaces that require defence against the sun's harmful rays and the elements.

Features

  • Solvent-based, UV-resistant wood oil
  • Exceptional durability against weathering
  • Contains biocides to protect against mould, algae, and fungal attack
  • Prevents swelling, shrinkage, splitting, and warping of timber
  • High VOC content
  • Coverage of up to 20 m² per litre
  • Drying time of approximately 12 hours

Preparation
For new wood, surfaces should be sanded with a 120-grit abrasive. Old wood should be cleaned thoroughly, and any old paints or varnishes must be completely removed. For wood that has turned grey or silver over time, consider using Osmo Wood Reviver Gel for restoration.

Application
Apply thinly along the wood grain using an Osmo Soft Tip Brush. Work the oil into the surface and wipe off any excess. Allow the first coat to dry for approximately 12 hours before applying the second coat.

Maintenance
When renovation is required, lightly sand or use a stiff brush to remove surface dirt and debris. Apply a thin maintenance coat, taking care to work the oil into the surface of the wood.
