Rustins Outdoor Varnish Gloss Clear

Clear water-based acrylic varnish, available in Gloss, Satin and Matt. Gives long lasting protection to all external wood, allowing the natural grain to show through. Exterior joinery both hard & softwood, doors, windows, garden furniture, conservatories. May also be used as a sealer for concrete. Low odour, non-yellowing, resists cracking, peeling, blistering. The varnish has very little effect on the colour of the timber that it is applied to. May be applied over old existing coating if these are in good condition and rubbed down to provide a key.

• Composition: Coatings not in good condition should be removed with Rustins Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper. If applying over wood preservatives test on a small area to ensure the varnish dries and adheres well

• Product Application: Using a synthetic brush, apply liberally with a full brush finishing with the grain. The first coat may be diluted with water on hot days (up to 15%). Do not apply to hot surfaces or in strong sunlight if possible or if rain is likely
• Touch Dry: Touch dry 30 minutes. (On hot days may be touch dry within 10 minutes)
• Recoatable: Apply 3 coats and lightly sand after 1st coat if there is raising of the grain
• VOC Level: Low
