Rustins Poly Varnish Gloss Oak

A high build, air-drying coloured polyurethane varnish. The finish produced is tough, durable and resistant to oil, water and many chemicals. Bare wood, hardboard, MDF and unsealed cork. Interior use only. Stains and varnishes in one. High abrasion and mechanical impact resistance. Colours available: Mahogany, Oak, Dark Oak, Pine, Teak, Walnut & Antique Pine. The varnish may be used over the following Rustins products; Rustins Wood filler, Grain filler and Rustins Polyurethane Varnish. The colour will darken with additional coats. A lighter shade can be obtained by diluting with White Spirit. Rustins Polyurethane Clear Varnish may be applied over Varnish Stain without altering the colour.

• Product Application: Apply evenly, finishing in the direction of the grain using a good quality brush. The first coat may be thinned with White Spirit (1 part to 8 parts varnish), to act as a sealer when applying to absorbent surfaces. The colour will darken with additional coats
• Touch Dry: Touch dry in approximately 2-4 hours, depending on the temperature and humidity
• Recoatable: Re-coat when the previous coat is hard dry, typically within 4-8 hours depending on the temperature and humidity
