Sadolin Polyurethane Extra Durable Varnish – Tough Clear Varnish for Interior Wood and Furniture

Sadolin Polyurethane Extra Durable Varnish offers all the benefits of a traditional water-based varnish – low odour, quick drying and a fast recoat time – with the inclusion of polyurethane to give a tougher, more hardwearing finish.
Once dry, this product offers excellent protection against scuffs and knocks, as well as an easy-to-clean surface that is spill and stain resistant – perfect for a busy family home.
From internal wooden doors and window frames to kitchen cupboards, dining tables, banisters and handrails and furniture, Sadolin Polyurethane Extra Durable Varnish enhances the natural beauty of wood whilst delivering premium wood protection.
PREPARATION:
We recommend a trial application before you start. The final colour and finish will depend on the original colour, condition of your wood and number of coats applied.
PREVIOUSLY WOODSTAINED AND/OR VARNISHED SURFACES Ensure surfaces to be varnished are free from grease, polish etc. Lightly sand using a find sandpaper ensuring all sanding residues are fully removed. If the existing coating is in a poor condition it will require complete removal to achieve the best finish.
NEW OR BARE WOOD: Degrease oily or resinous timbers by wiping over with a lint free cloth dampened with cellulose thinners or methylated spirits. Allow to dry thoroughly.
APPLICATION:
Stir well before and during application. Do not apply at temperatures below 8°C or above 25°C or in direct sunlight. Apply liberally with minimum brush strokes to achieve a smooth finish, brushing evenly in the direction of the grain. Sand lightly between coats if there is any raised grain. Remove any surface dust before applying further coats. Apply up to 3 coats depending on the finish required."
