Sadolin PV67 Heavy Duty Varnish – Hardwearing Two-Pack Varnish for Heavy Traffic Areas
A tough, two-pack varnish for use on areas that receive high abrasion, Sadolin PV67 Heavy Duty Varnish delivers an exceptionally hardwearing finish every time.
This quick drying, solvent-based varnish offers professional durability and protection to bar tops and work surfaces, as well as heavy traffic floor areas such as sport halls and dance floors.
Heavy Duty, Slip-Resistant Varnish for Areas Subject to High Abrasion
Wood flooring such as that found in sports halls, community halls and dancefloors is subject to high traffic and heavy footfall, and as a consequence of this can quickly become scratched and unsightly. More importantly, this wear and tear can cause flooring to become slippery and potentially dangerous for users.
Sadolin PV67 Heavy Duty Varnish is specially formulated to protect and enhance surfaces that receive high levels of abrasion. It offers a slip and scratch-resistant finish that is long lasting, durable and does not yellow over time.
Not only suitable for floors, this quick-drying varnish also provides excellent protection against chemicals including alcohol, making it an ideal varnish for bar counters and work surfaces, along with hallways and entryways of many commercial environments.
Note: Sadolin PV67 Heavy Duty Varnish is not suitable for use on laminate flooring.
PREPARATION:
Remove any previous finish and surface irregularities using a drum sander. Surfaces previously coated with PV67 may only require a light sanding. Use a small electric sander or sand by hand to finish off around the edges. Remove all sanding dust by vacuuming. Degrease oily or reinous timbers by wiping over with a link free cloth dampened with cellulose thinners or methylated spirits. Allow to dry thoroughly.
IF THE TIMBER REQUIRES STAINING: Apply one coat only of Sadolin Classic, and allow to dry for at least 3 - 5 days before applying PV67. Avoid the inhalation of dust, wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
APPLICATION:
Use a wide soft bristled brush or suitable roller to apply. Brush or roll out evenly in the direction of the grain. Sand lightly between coats if there is any raised grain. Remove any surface dust before applying further coats. Apply 3 coats.
