Composition and Consistency

Preparation and Application

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust and dirt to enhance adhesion.
• Prime new wood and wood fibreboard surfaces with Helmi Pohjamaali primer for optimal results.
• For porous surfaces, apply a thinned primer (5–10%) and sand intermediately before applying an unthinned primer coat.
• Special adhesion requirements can be met with Otex Akva primer.
• Conditions for application: Temperature should be at least +8 °C, with relative humidity below 80%. Lower temperatures (around +15 °C) and higher humidity (50–70% RH) extend the paint's open time, facilitating application.
• Applicable using brush, roller, or spray for versatility in application methods.
• Suitable for interior woodwork, metal, and window frames, providing a versatile solution for home renovations.
