Returns Policy

Damaged, Wrong items and Short delivered orders

Please check your order carefully immediately after it has been delivered and ensure you store the items you have ordered in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Please advise us of any damaged items on the day of delivery or any wrong items or short delivered items within 48 hours of receiving your order. To ensure a fast response, please e-mail [email protected] OR call 0844 8004167 our office and notify us immediately. Please make sure you quote your full invoice number that can be found at the top left hand corner of the paid invoice. The paid invoice will be included within the order. Please keep all your packaging in case we need to arrange for collection.

Faulty Goods

All products are covered under the manufacturers warrantee. PaintWell will replace any goods found to be faulty providing you have notified us in writing within 7 days of delivery, so please ensure you check the items you have ordered within a reasonable time of receiving them. All of our products will perform as directed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. However, we do not accept responsibility for application and conditions, as we cannot control the conditions under which products we supply are used or applied. This does not affect your statutory rights.


All goods will be refunded if they are returned to us unused, in their original condition and with their original packaging, within 7 working days of receiving your delivery. Customers must make their own arrangements for returning such goods at their own cost. We can alternatively arrange for collection and restocking at an initial charge of £20.00 Inc. VAT for the first 15kgs and 50p for every additional KG this can be deducted from any refund due to you.

You should ensure that items are properly packaged and insured against loss and damage before returning them to our business address, together with a copy of your invoice and a letter explaining that you would like a refund. We cannot accept any responsibility for items that are lost, or damaged upon arrival at our premises.

Order Cancellation

Customers should contact us immediately if they wish to cancel their order. Orders that have been paid for via the telephone and have been processed will be subject to a charge of 4% of the total transaction value. This will be deducted from the total refund value. However, once goods have been despatched it may not be possible for us to stop them from being delivered. It therefore becomes the customers responsibility to return them to us undamaged.
