Sandtex® Trade Stabilising Solution is a high-penetrating, solvent-based stabiliser designed for exterior masonry surfaces and building boards. This colourless solution effortlessly stabilises chalking, weathered, and porous decorative surfaces, as well as controlling suction on undecorated areas.

Efficient One-Coat Application. With Sandtex® Trade Stabilising Solution's advanced formulation, you can achieve stability for exterior masonry in just one coat, eliminating the need for additional coats and saving valuable time and effort. Its deep penetration effectively stabilises loose, powdery finishes while controlling absorbency on porous surfaces.

This colourless solution is compatible with various decorative finishes without affecting their colours. Whether it's rendering, roughcast, pebbledash, brickwork, or exterior grade building boards, Sandtex® Trade Stabilising Solution provides a reliable surface treatment for most exterior masonry walls and surfaces.

Painting Instructions

PREPARATION

Prior to application, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any substances that may hinder adhesion. Rectify any structural faults that could lead to moisture penetration. Use Sandtex Ready Mixed Filler to repair minor defects. For new or pre-prepared surfaces, remove loose or flaking material until a solid surface is achieved, avoiding the inhalation of dust. Eliminate visible organic growth by scraping or brushing with a stiff bristle brush, and treat spores with Sandtex Fungicide according to the manufacturer's instructions.

APPLICATION

Sandtex Stabilising Solution is ready to use and should not be thinned or mixed with decorative materials. Apply a liberal coat using a brush, avoiding excessive stabilisation on sound surfaces. Do not apply if rain is expected or if the temperature is likely to fall below 8°C or the relative humidity exceeds 80% during application and drying.
