PaintWell opens its first new branch in York!

PaintWell (formerly Bromborough Paints and Trade1st) has opened its first of many new stores as they continue their rapid network expansion and reinforce the company’s reputation as the largest independent decorators’ merchant in the North.

The new store in York, which is the company’s 19th, will act as a hub for deliveries and tradespeople across Yorkshire. The new store which is conveniently located on Clifton Moor industrial estate, Unit 4, 1 Kettlestring Lane, York, YO30 4XF (Next to Magnet kitchens) and gives both trade and retail customers in the area access to all the major decorating brands under one roof, including Dulux, Armstead, Crown, Macpherson, Johnstone’s and Leyland as well as an extensive choice of decorating accessories.

Alongside our sister brand Bromborough paints we will bring all of our brands together into one company, creating consistency across the website and 19 strong branch network.

The company will of course retain its famed online service, support and product range. This will now be coupled with our stores which are local, independent decorators’ merchant with a huge range, strong stock availability and great service.

Chosen as the colour to best represent our lifestyles, Brave Ground is a warm and neutral colour that connects us back to nature and the simple things. The colour was chosen by a panel of experts including design specialists, editors and architects from around the world. Working with paint company AkzoNobel the shade was chosen along with complementary natural tones to form the Dulux ColourFutures 2021 palettes. These palettes are split into four very distinct palettes which are Expressive colours, Trust colours, Timeless colours, and Earth colours.
